GIS Day – November 19th, 2008

GIS Day is coming November 19th. It will provide an opportunity to let folks in the County know about what we are doing, how the technology is evolving, and get them excited!

I’d like to get everyone’s ideas about how we will make this day a success. Please comment and give me your ideas, and suggest changes to my thoughts.

In order of importance:

  1. Thank for visiting this site, which will be the forum for all of our communication.
  2. The April eGIS Meeting has been moved to Room 739, Hall of Administration – same time, 1:30 – 3pm
  3. Check the “Meetings” category to find documents for last month’s meeting minutes and presentation.
  4. This meeting will have more details on metadata – specifically about a pair of tools that should make metadata creation easier. See the post
