Here are the improvements in the new release:
Improved Performance
The performance when rendering layers on Pictometry images has been improved, and in many cases greatly improved. Users should notice a distinct difference from previous versions. Most of the improvements were achieved by streamlining the bounding of the layers being displayed. Additional improvements were achieved by no longer attempting to display SDC (Smart Data Compression) data over the Pictometry image. See the next note for details.
SDC Processing Bypassed
SDC (Smart Data Compression) layers are now being bypassed in the Pictometry image window. These layers have not been displayed over Pictometry images in previous versions, but the Extension would still attempt to process them. This processing has been eliminated, which improves performance when large SDC datasets are involved.
