This is selective and misleading mapping. What about the gun owners whose guns are not licensed?
No, this public data should not be published. It puts the public at greater risk; now criminals can selectivley target households that do not have guns. Burglars’ greatest fear are homeowners with guns and dogs. Conversely, criminals now can also target households with guns to steal the weapons to commit other crimes. Criminals could use this info to profile gun owners and then observe them as potential targets, figuring out when people are away at work or on vacation. Whether a gun owner or not, publishing this data puts all at greater risk.
