Geography is covering new ground for travelers
Tim Smith from LA County Fire passed this website along, which ranks all college major by unemployment rate and median earning (Geographers’s median income is $54,000 a year, by the way). Here is the page: Wall Street Journal Site – From College to Career Straight to Geographer Earnings
By the way – if you really want to make money you should go into Petroleum Engineering, with a median income of $127,000.

Georgetown University’s Center for Education and the Workforce has released a report titled “What’s IT Worth?”. According to the report, “Median earnings for those with Bachelor’s degrees vary greatly—from $29,000 for Counseling Psychology majors to $120,000 for Petroleum Engineering majors.” What about a Bachelor’s degree in Geography?

The creator highlights certain geographic features as downtown, etc. which highlights the way the people unconsciously use geography all the time.
