Cadastral National Spatial Data Infrastructure (i.e. National Parcel Database)

Passed along from Carol Ostergren:

I went to the site but wasn’t able to download data (yet). ┬áMaybe there was too much demand – but this is a valuable data source.

Download the Cadastral National Spatial Data Infrastructure, Public Data Set (version 1) from the United States GIS Data Repository
The Cadastral National Spatial Data Infrastructure, Public Data Set, version 1 (CADNSDI) is now available for free download from the United States GIS Data Repository (USGDR).
What is this data set? The CADNSDI is the beginning of an authoritative source, in terms of content, of a nationwide (all thirty applicable states) PLSS dataset. The long term goal is to have this data maintained and updated by identified data stewards and be used as a trusted source for mapping and GIS applications.
Why is this data free? Funding for creating this data was provided by the BLM Cadastral Survey; Fairview Industries and Premier Data Services provided technical and processing support for the project.
Why should I use this data? The CADNSDI contains both rectangular and non-rectangular PLSS data that represents approximately thirty million (30,000,000) federal parcels across the western US. And, this data meets the Federal Geospatial Data Committee (FGDC) Cadastral Data Publication Standards.
How can I get it? You can visit the USGDR website,
www.usgdr.org/Data.aspx, to download zipped GDBs containing all the data.
