2011 Geocortex User Conference – June 7th and 8th

Announcement page

This is a live online conference – it should be very good.

Registration is now open for the 2011 Geocortex User Conference which is happening June 7-8th, 2011.

This will be our 6th annual conference. Recognizing the ongoing reality of travel restrictions for many organizations, and following the success of last year’s virtual Geocortex conference, this will be a live online event (with all sessions recorded for later viewing).

We think a live video stream is an effective way to create a high-value, low-cost learning opportunity – and reach more of our users. And this year, our goal is to replicate more of the advantages of in-person events; particularly conversation between attendees.

You won’t want to miss this information-packed virtual conference. Topics include:

  • Connect our powerful core API-level capabilities with next-generation viewers and a versatile development platform. 2011 is a truly watershed year for Geocortex licensees; see what’s new and what’s coming!
  • 2011-2012 will mark the majority Esri market transition from ArcIMS to ArcGIS Server, and from Web ADF to REST technology. We’ll discuss best practices and outline a strategy to minimize transition risk for your organization.
  • Go beyond web mapping, and extract greater value form your geospatial data by using it more broadly and deeply across your organization. Experts will share tips and their real-world experiences.

Plan to make the most of these two information-packed days. We will be finalizing the content of our agenda in the coming months, which will include presentations by leading users. Don’t miss out – we’re confident that you’ll remember the 2011 Geocortex User Conference as being a pivotal event in your work to keep up-to-date and leverage the latest technology to do more with ArcGIS Server.
