For the majority of 2013, Latitude Geographics has been gearing up to launch this new, major release of our popular Geocortex Essentials software. Geocortex Essentials 4 will ship in January 2014 alongside the Geocortex Viewer for HTML5 2.0 and the Geocortex Viewer for Silverlight 2.0. Our decision to increment the major version (from 3.X to 4.X) is not just the result of dozens of powerful new features, but the inclusion of several fundamentally new ways of doing things. For example, search and security have been completely redesigned to offer new capabilities and flexibility never before possible. Alongside Geocortex Essentials 4, Latitude Geographics is also announcing the availability of new product extensions such as the Cityworks Extension for Geocortex Essentials. Geocortex Essentials 4 will be reviewed and demonstrated in detail at this Geocortex User Group meeting… don’t miss it, see you there!
